So now that salons are back open, I thought I would do a little page to let you know what to expect when coming to my home salon.
By following these protocols we will be helping each other to keep safe.
Anyone that doesn't want to follow these rules in my salon will not be accepted for treatments.
I do hope you all understand i'm not doing it to be rude but to keep us all safe.
The first steps of safety comes down to me. You can hopefully feel more at easy when visiting my salon with the steps I have taken.
I have done various training regarding salons, customers and covid 19. Including PPE, hygiene, disinfecting, sterilizing, and the right procedures to take.
But all my hard work means nothing if the clients don't follow it with me.
So heres a few thing to expect when booking in with me and attending the salon.
First thing is to screen myself. Every morning I will be taking my temperature and monitoring my health for any symptoms.
Pre-screening my clients
I will be doing treatments by appointments only.
I would appreciate the wearing of a mask when able to, if you don't have one or forget I will have disposable ones for you to purchase for a small fee.
I may ask a few questions covid related and will also give you time to ask me any questions you may have
Step two
Hygiene
As I work from my own home salon there will only ever be myself and the client on premises. The steps I will take for my personal hygiene is:
Clean uniform with a mask. I will not wear gloves unless requested by client. Our practice is to wash hands frequently not to wear glove. If you would prefer me to wear gloves just ask and ill be more than happy to.
Salons hygiene is a full disinfection after every client including:
Cleaning of every surface and handle
Cleaning of all the products
Cleaning of bathroom
Fresh towels and linen
Full steralization of all my tools
Step three
Last of all is arriving for the treatment.
Again let me remind clients to bring your own mask.
When the client arrives I may be asking to do a contact free temperature check. I will ask if any of the questions asked are still the same answers. I have a sanitizing station for myself and clients to use
